I recently got the Asus Z97-AR with 4690k. I was just wandering what upgrade next?

What is your current monitor ?

Really CRAPPY CRAPPY CRAPPY. HP W2071d. Never buy anything with the name HP infront of it. I swear every body with a HP/Compaq I know say they suck so bad.

If you go with option 1 then you will probably have to lower settings a bit as you are going to a bigger resolution.

 

If you go with option 2 then you are stuck with your crappy monitor and a gpu which is too powerful for 1600 x 900 resolution.

 

If you are desperate to get rid of your current monitor then go with the 1st option.
