Android Problem (or I'm just dumb)

So I am coming from iPhone. I don't really have any Android experience so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. So today my LG G4 arrived and I was excited to download some stuff but when it goes off the download pauses. Again I have no idea if this is normal or not because I'm coming from an iPhone 5s. Check the WiFi settings > advanced and if Keep WiFi On During Sleep isn't set to "Always", there's your problem.

What are you downloading btw? Are you downloading over a mobile network?

That's very odd. I've got to confirm this was through the play store, and you weren't sideloading or using an alternate store?

SimCity was which had the problem too but the theme was through LG's SmartWorld. And I have no idea what sideloading means xc

Sideloading is when you allow non play store apps to be installed.  You simply download the APK through the browser, and then run it to install.  Anyways, in terms of your problem, I have no other ideas.
