I cannot get my PC to boot after its hard drive had boot once on my brothers PC. He needed a file off of mine so we put my hard drive in his, and the damn thing booted from my HDD. So windows configured itself to his PC and doesn't want to boot on mine. Booting into windows 7 (duel boot win8/7) works fine, as the card doesn't have any drivers installed yet. How do I uninstall my GPU drivers (r9 390x) without booting into the OS? As soon as the drivers are loaded it takes a shit. The screen just freezes.

Well, removing the power cables to the GPU has gotten me further. It hasn't crashed yet so I could uninstall things. This thing is water cooled and there is no way in hell the GPU is coming out.

Update: still crashes when the card is enabled and booted into windon't 8.1 with the graphics drivers uninstalled. Anyone got any ideas?

What kind of crash? Blue screen? Freeze? Fake freeze (mouse still moves)?

freeze.

I did manage to get it working (havent rebooted yet after driver installation, but unengine works) and I did this by booting into safe mode and uninstalling the card in the device manager and checking the "also uninstall device drivers" box, rebooting, and installing CCC in normal windows. Under full load, everything in my system stays under 40 degrees. I love it.
