Okay So i have been working in fixing computers for over 5 years and have never come up against this before. Basically when I press the power on button on this laptop it doesn't display anything on screen and the caps lock key very slowly flashes say it's on for 1 second and not for 3 seconds then back on again etc. I simply wiped the keyboard with a dry cloth. HONESTLY. Can anyone give any ideas? All help is appreciated <3

Well you can find out if its actually the keyboard by disconnecting it.

Generally 2 or 3 screws in the battery bay and then it lifts up. There will be a ribbon cable clipped into the motherboard.
