Still stuttering! Replaced everything!

Go to solution Solved by Username2460,

Install a fresh copy of windows, I would have done that from the beginning. Even checking the disk for errors, malware and corruption is what I would have done first before replacing anything. Drivers, running programs, ect.

I re-installed windows and now my stuttering on CSGO is GONE! :D.  The big stutters have gone. I can only tell if there are mild stutters but it does not effect gameplay and you would only relise it if you were thinking about it. Thank you so much :D. Lets see if it has fixed the other games.

Hi,

I've been having this problem for half a year now. In games my screen seems to stutter alot. For example in War thunder one second im at 60fps next ive dropped down to 40fps then back to 60fps shortly after. During this time, the screen stutters and feels unplayable.

I've replaced my GPU to a GTX 970 and still have the issue. I also installed a new PSU and heatsink cooler (coolermaster hyper 212 evo). I still have the problem. I also replaced my RAM. Does not help. Its also nothing to do with the VRM on my motherboard because my CPU does not throttle.

It can't be a GPU problem, It can't be thermal problem because all my temperatures are low. Its also nothing to do with the monitor. Its also nothing to do with the mouse. What can it be?

I have no idea what is causing this and its frustrating. If I just buy a new CPU (intel) I just feel it wont do anything.

I HAVE REPLACED EVERYTHING IN MY RIG, BUT THE MOTHERBOARD ITSELF, CPU AND HARDRIVE.

Please could I have some help???

Drivers are up to date, ive done malware scans. The only thing I have not done is reinstall windows. Are you sure re-installing windows will solve the issue? How is my OS related to stuttering?

There could be a million things causing stuttering that has to do with the OS itself.

Ok. I'm doing an scan on my hardrive. I will also defragg my hardrive. If that has not solved it. I'm reinstalling windows.

Any other suggestions to what is causing the stuttering?

FX-8350

Welp, there is your culprit...

Its not my CPU. I've benchmarked it. No throttling. It stays at 4.00GHz. Temperature is comfortable. How is my 8350 causing stuttering?

How do you know its my CPU. Whats the technical problem with it rather than saying "umg its AMD nub 8350 noob"??

8350 is a bad CPU for gaming, plus that 970 of yours is being bottlenecked by it... sorry for caps but NEVER CHOOSE FX CHIPS FOR GAMING!

because AMD makes absolute pardon-my-french shit CPU's any Intel CPU will give that a run for its money.

You can't just say that. What is the technical problem with it? I need evidence. I can't just simply buy a new CPU and hope that my stuttering solves itself.

Because AMD makes shit CPU's thats literately the explanation

watch this video

it will solve it, everything from Intel is a step up the Hyper Threading technology makes a HUGE impact on performance, the quality of the chips are better; the architecture is better and the FX series is beyond out of date

Edit

------------------

Every CPU AMD has made has horrible quality but amazing potential for overclocking; everywhere Intel beats AMD go look at CPU Boss

Intel makes AMD look like an absolute JOKE now if you excuse me I'll be going now, believe me or not, its that CPU.

It could be my OS?

If it was my CPU, I would need a need motherboard and new case if it is not mATX.

It is your CPU your not listening. Anyone can and will tell you its your CPU. Unless you get a 9590 thats the only thing that can remotely keep up with a i3/i5

When I replaced my RAM with my brothers, I only tested it in one game - CSGO. CSGO runs badly on 8350. So that game might just run badly in my rig. However, I should of tested the RAM on other games to see if I had stuttering. For example, GTA V.

As a last resort, I could test my brothers CPU to see if it is my CPU causing problems, then again, he has an fx-6350
