I have a cooler master cosmos se. It has two 140mm fans in front, one 120mm fan in back, and two 140mm fans up top.

I have a nepton 280L on the top of the case. I have the two fans in front as intake, the radiator fans on top as intake, and the fan in the back as exhaust. I've got gtx 970s in sli, and since they are reference cards they are blowing air out the back.

My question is whether the reference cards as exhaust are strong enough to act as proper exhaust fans since I have 4 140mm fans as intake in my case. Those little fans seem really powerful but I can't find any specifics on just how much air they're moving out of the case. Can anyone tell me if this is a proper fan configuration.

@coppertj - thanks for the reply, yeah I got really good deal on them otherwise i woulda gone with a non-ref gpu. Although louder then my old msi 770s, the noise is at least manageable. My only concern is with air pressure at this point and whether the exhaust from the cards is enough to counteract the four intake fans.

Theoretically speaking they should be able to counteract the rest of the fans giving your case good airflow

Taran should run for president!
