good screen recorder

Ive used fraps which just ruins FPS, the built in one in the Geforce experience and that still nearly halves my fps.. i was wondering if there is one that doesn't alter the fps that much?

The razer cortex recording is same as the others. It really affects the FPS. Try open source broadcaster.

Both OBS and MSI Afterburner are better than Fraps.

Switching Codecs can sometimes help you can read up about it here its quite interesting, if you have a powerful CPU consider a CPU based codec compared if you have a not so powerful GPU, you wouldn't want to use a GPU based codec vise versa
