What's your idea of a $1000 gaming pc that includes a 1080p ips monitor?

I'm looking to play games at 1080p, 0msaa-2msaa at high to ultra settings at 60 fps.

(im not so sure if this build is $1000 as the prices of the parts here are blown up.)

here's what I'm planning on getting:

i5 4460

h97 pro4

8gb hyperx fury

sapphire r9 380 nitro

adata premiere pro sp900 128gb ssd

1 tb wd blue

phanteks enthoo pro

+$150 1080p ips monitor

any other pc builds/changes you wanna tell me?

Thanks :)

i5 4590 | Sapphire R9 380 Nitro | MSi H97 Gaming 3 | 8GB HyperX Fury 1600MHz | 1TB WD Blue | ADATA SP900 128GB | Seasonic M12II 620W | NZXT. S340 (Black & Red) |

Maybe use PCpartpicker for simplicity in getting suggested tweaks? Also, have fun using that build without a PSU ;-p

I knew I was missing something. You can get suggested tweaks in PCP? Cool...

Assuming your in the US..

You can makes some cuts here and there to this build (eg, the motherboard and PSU if you will not go dual card)

Pretty good bang for buck though..

Change the mobo to a H97 chipset and a WD hard drive and this build is great.
