Laptop for Schoolwork

If it's strictly for schoolwork, I would go for like an i3 with 8 gb and an ssd. :D

i3: you don't need a ton of processing power if it's just for browsing and creating documents.

8 gb: I use like 6 gb just from chrome and stuff haha.

ssd: cause SSD.

I know most the time we talk pc and not laptop here but there are a lot of options out there and i need some help choosing.

 

I will not post links for the ones i have looked at because they are on norwegian or scandinavian sites.

 

What i want halp with is to what i should look at. I will use this laptop only for school but once in a while play League of Legends.

 

I am a intel. So i ask you:

 

1. Should i have a i3/i5/i7 cpu?

2. Should i have 8 or 16 gb of ram (does it matter)?

3. Should i have a ssd and/or a hdd for storage?

 

I know some might prefere a mac for schoolwork but that is not for me :)

 

Sorry for my spelling mistakes and also you miss some info just ask :)

if you are just going to do some text/ office related stuff and play lol you are fine with i3+4gb ram + onboard graphics. You would be overspending waaaay too much if you were to get a pc with i7 and 16gb ram.

What I would do is find a cheapo i3 laptop for 300ish and spend another 100 bucks on an ssd and 4gb of memory (most laptops at that price point have 4gb ish).
