Hey so, sometimes when I am playing BAttlefield my screens will go black and the sound glitches and the only thing fixes this, is turning off the PSU and on again and start the PC again. So first I thought this was an issue with my PC, but now I also remember that I had this problem on a laptop were it also crashed, only in a different way. So guys, are you also sure that its probably Battlefield 4?

Never had this problem. I had problems with alt tabbing out that could only be fixed by restarting my PC though.

I would think it's BF4 if it happened on a different system before.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Maybe a lack of VRAM? I have experienced some crashes of BF4 when my settings were too high for my cards to handle even tho I had good framerates and all. Just the VRAM being full sometimes made it crash. I tried lowering the settings and it works fine since then.

Just tag @ChatDaw so I can answer as fast as possible.

no its not that, my brother e.g. plays this with a gtx 560 1GB flawlessly, and according to MSI AFT. it uses 2020MB max Vram here, whereas the gtx 970 has 4GB. Also guys I just updated my BIOS to Version F6, maybe that helps.

Maybe check your hardware is capable of running it? What are your PC specs?

Could you post your PC specs? It sounds like your PSU may be stretched for power

Is your computer running out of vRAM? Thinking back to the scandal of 3.5gb of full speed RAM. Assuming you have like a 1080p monitor, I'd lower the texture setting to low or medium, just to check out and make sure there are no problems there

Edit: I'm referring to the GTX970's advertised 4gb RAM buffer actually being 3.5gb

i use up 2GBs ffs, who cares about 3,5GB or so, 1GB are enough for 1080p, i saw videos on youtube where people were running dual 1080p panels and playing BF3 with gtx 560 ti SLI
