10/10

Would build.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

CPU: Phenom II x6 1045t ][ GPU: GeForce 9600GT 512mb DDR3 ][ Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P ][ RAM: 2x4GB Kingston 1333MHz CL9 DDR3 ][ HDD: Western Digital Green 2TB ][ PSU: Chieftec 500AB A ][ Case: No-name without airflow or dust filters Budget saved for an upgrade so far: 2400PLN (600€) - Initial 2800PLN (700€) Upgraded already: CPU

thnx, spent alot of time planning it

Only perhaps I would go with Evga ACX Superclocked 780 (or Asus DirectCUII 780) instead of Zotac but that's only a matter of opinion.

This is a great overall build.

Oh I almost forgot, get 1x8GB stick and not 2x4GB stick so you can upgrade easier in the future.

Dual channel. yes you do get a little, negligible performance boost (you wont see it most likely in day to day usage, same as getting 2133mhz over 1600mhz).

But if you take 2x4GB now, your total upgrade will be maximum of 24GB if you ever feel like it, while if you get 1x 8GB now and second 8GB later (to pair it in dual channel) you still can add another 2x8GB for a total of 4x8GB = 32GB of RAM (just an option, but losing it is not something I would feel good with, especially that 8GB sticks can be reused in other builds or sold more easily to 'advanced' builders than 4GB sticks which are nowadays kind of... getting redundant)

Get something 1x8GB 1600Mhz CL9. Don't get anything Cl10 or higher even at higher frequencies as CL means latency. higher latency makes frequency gain useless.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

Jordan

Is that a walk-in store or an online shop?

I found several different online PC shops that have Jordan in them.

A link to the shop would help.

Newegg doesn't ship internationally. NCIX does. So does amazon.

To make sure shipping costs don't kill you and considering your dad is paying for this, I downsized and lowered the price of the build. It will still max out almost every game at 1080p and is crossfire ready.

I'm guessing that's because your dad is paying for it and it has more expensive parts.

Kinda

Don't spend more money than you need to. I know it sounds bad but performance/price drops off the higher tier of parts you go. It's better if you spend less now and get more powerful, cheaper parts that will come out later.

Unless you're gaming across multiple displays or at 1440p, you don't need a 780.

WoodenMarker I don't like how you brainwash people for no particular reason. We, people who advise the build inside a given fund, are not supposed to convince people to spend less on a PC. If somebody has the money he may build whatever he wants, we are only here to suggest the parts that are best fitted into the budget. He has enough for 780 which is superior to any Radeon or GTX save for Titan, and it will max out games for longer time than your Radeon build. and again I'm mentioning that crossfire is terrible so until they fix it its still considered big no-no.

WoodenMarker you forget that we are not financial advisors and we shouldn't care less from where OP has got the money...

But aside from this, the build from OP is a great PC and he will enjoy full details in pretty much all games to date. :)

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

Money not spent now means money that can be spent for better and cheaper future parts.

You do not know his situation and I don't know either but its very likely that he has a 'one shot' kind of money boost so he has to pick best parts possible because he doesnt know when is the next time he has enough money for new parts.

I don't get how that works. If you don't spend extra money, where would it disappear to?
