And its called Acer x34 now , and has a bit different specs according to the last Acer interview in computex - 34inch, IPS, 3440x1440, 100hz, gsync

Predator z35 is the 35in VA panel 144hz @1080p. The Predator X34 is the 34in IPS panel 75-100Hz(I've heard both with nothing official so theres that) @1440p.

 

As far as I know the XR341CK and X34 are the same monitor where the XR341CK was a working title. If you look at it and the X34 its the same bezel but now it has red accents, LEDs, and the Predator logo to make it more "gamer" which I hate. Luckily, most of which I just named is all on the back of the monitor and I'm not buying a $1.3k monitor to look at the back of it.

 

I'm pretty excited for this monitor, the hype seems pretty big with it so if this monitor sells well then I believe the game support for 21:9 will follow. I'm using a 21in 60Hz Acer monitor now so even at 75Hz I'm casual enough that its still an improvement to me.

 

EDIT - fun note that made me smile inside even if it changes as said above there is some incorrect info on the pre-order page. This has the BenQ XR3501 and the X34 listed at the same price. Why is that neat you ask? That BenQ monitor is on sale for pre-order on NewEgg right now for $999! I've been prepping myself as $1300 for a low number but if its below that I'm super pumped.

 

EDIT 2 - @Ryzone I'm stupid, I knew this but completely slipped my mind when typing. Hit me like a brick wall a few minutes later. They are making a FreeSync and GSync model and the XR341CK is FreeSync while XR341CKA (X34) is GSync. Also most likely the reason behind the different looks and prices. I've dashed my own hopes in under two minutes.

Isn't there one coming out called the z35 also or is that the same one?
