i7 2600K with Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H

I can't get any setting I try to get an stable overclock to 4.4GHz, I know the 2600K can go higher than that and I have the temperature headroom but anytime I go over 4.4Ghz even for just a second I get Blue screened no matter how much voltage I pump into the CPU.

Here is my current settings for my motherboard (GA-Z68X-UD3H):

Multiplier 44x

Base clock 100.10MHz

Core Voltage 1.340v or 1.325v or somewhere between the two.

I believe those are the only things I touched, I'm scared about my voltages because the motherboard doesn't have a really beefy phase design. I feel like I'm going to break my motherboard if I go any higher.

Can anyone help me out on how to get a 24/7 stable overclock at 4.4GHz or if anyone knows a sure fire way to get it stable at a higher clock I'm all ears!

While you probably should be able to, there is no rhyme or reason that your particular chip HAS to be able to get that high, its just possible you have a chip that isn't good at overclocking.

It would depend on the silicon lottery and the motherboard is fairly decent.
