A. It would eat games for breakfast.

But if the cad program/s you use uses alot of RAM B might be better.

I think the first would be generally better because of it's faster GPU and HDD.

Do either of them have high-refresh screens?

Battery life I expect in these is low.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

Yeah, the gtx980m. but I've heard some real bad things about the AW 15, such as throttling and stuff. Do you know anything about it? ANd nah I don't do programming or stuff, not sure what CAD is

Yeah, much thicker though! High refresh ? Battery life in the AW 15 is 92W i think, whereas 60W in the 650SE.

I would take the Clevo for it's size. But couldn't you configure the HDD with a 1TB 7200RPM one?

EDIT: I'm assuming you are getting the Alienware from Dell directly.

http://www.sagernotebook.com/customize.php?productid=732

So just saying, if you were to configure the Clevo with the exact same specs as the 15, the Clevo is still cheaper.

Uhm i'm getting either clevo brand new, or the aw15 second hand. both around the same price with the specs i listed.

I would say the alienware which is really good also with good reviews.
