So I recently learned to setup a RTMP server for streaming and I was wondering if this cheap build would be able to stream at these settings.

720p 60fps 3000k CPU preset Fast/Medium x264

The build could probably stream it but I wanted to get some second opinions. Currently Im using my laptop( i7 4710HQ ) but I wouldn't mind ever having a dedicated server around the house doing the streaming for me.

For those of you that don't know about dual-pc streaming using an RTMP server. Your gaming PC will encode video using another co-processor( Intel Quick-Sync, Nvidia NVENC ) to encode the gameplay at really high bitrate. You can safely capture it 25000kbps with minimal performance impact since you are not pounding your CPU with the x264 encoding( Ever kill your i7 by gaming with the "Medium" preset on lol ). You can then stream locally to your server which will re-encode your high bitrate stream into a high quality twitch stream.

So what do you guys think? $350 sounds pretty good especially since I will set up Linux(free yay! ) and wont bother using an OS GUI. The motherboard comes with AMD 3000 graphics lol, Im sure that can handle some terminal text on a screen. Plus you can always use Putty and SSH into your server from any PC in your house and change server settings.

You might want to look at a 970 or 990FX chipset motherboard, with the 970 board being one of the higher end designs.
