Help Needed Setting up by Home Network

Go to solution Solved by GreyKnight2208,

Hey Guys,

Thankyou all for replying, but I figured it out.

:)

Hey Y'all,

I have a Gateway/Cable box (we'll call this box Arris) which my ISP provided me (have to use this), this also serves as a WiFi Router for the downstairs of my house, but I need coverage upstairs too, for this I have a separate router (we'll call this box Linksys). I connected Linksys to Arris via ethernet cable and did a basic setup which provides upstairs with the Internet, but this puts my house on 2 different networks, meaning none of my devices upstairs can stream to my Downstairs TV's and none of my upstairs PC's can connect with PC's downstairs over LAN. How do I get Linksys and Arris to work together under one network?

My Downstairs Router is the Arris TG862.

My Upstairs Router is the Cisco Linksys EA4500. (I do also have a Cisco Linksys X3000 buried away somewhere that i could probably use if needed.)

Thankyou for your time.
