Hi,

as the title suggests I do get DISK BOOT ERROR while booting the system up, but only when my triple exit IDE is connected both to the Discreader and HDD at the same time, when I unplugg one of them everything is fine.

The problem is that it's not my system in particular, and I was supposed to take care of it (so I did clean up whole case... this... first time since 2012 probably.) but while doing so I unplugged previously working good drives, and now I have clearly no idea what's going wrong in here.

IDE cable is typical 3-way exit with black, green and blue colored ones, and there is only one IDE port on the mobo.

Any suggestions what to do?

Regards,
Zubkover

P.S. Do anyone know from where I can get drivers for creative ct4830? I did look through pages on google, but every one of shown links contains a patch, not a driver for some apparent reason... O.o

Update: I checked the CMOS basic info, and there is this IDE drive controller. It seems that the black one, which is not the furthest one, is actually the mobo connector, since only from it I get Sleave/Master connection reports, whereas from different ones I get only Sleave or only Master, when plugging HDD or Disc Reader alone.

BUT

When I plug both of them CMOS reads them as nothing, and in place of my hdd or reader name is magical None.
Da fuq?
Why are they unrecognisible just like that? D:
