Help me improve my build for light gaming? (League,Dota2)

Go to solution Solved by iLoiter,

If you are only playing light games,  your graphic card is actually a tad bit overkill.

http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=csgo_linux_blobs&num=3   <-- CS GO benchmarks

Personally I would go for a ssd or another 4 gb of ram from that extra budget.

Hey all,

so tomorrow i'm going to order the parts for my first ever build.

I't should run games like League,Dota (maybe Csgo?) in 60fps at 1080p.

This is the build that i'm considering to get, could i get something better for the price?

Budget= 360$/310€

Extra:

I live in Estonia (EU).

Don't need to buy windows.

I'f somebody knows how to transfer a laptop's hdd&ram onto a new system then that would be great.

You can't transfer laptop RAM onto a new system as it uses SODIMM.

You can transfer laptop HDD by dissambling your laptop and just put it inside the case and plug in the SATA connectors into it from the PSU but just note that it's slower than desktop HDD and you can't recycle OS if that's what you were planning to do.

Also 4GB isn't enough for gaming you should probably get 8GB but other than that your should easily get 60fps for light games like DOTA,LoL,CSGO.

For League and Dota an integrated GPU will work just fine

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Cheaper RAM

Cheaper 750ti

Intel Pentium G3258 with Z97 Mobo and a cooler

has a great upgrade path, and overclocks like a beast.

Could you suggest a decent desktop GPU for csgo tho?

R9 250x would be fine for CS GO.
