Hey,

Well I kinda crashed my onboard LAN adapter somehow.... Anyway. It doesn't work. So I tried to use a network PCI card. It failed.

No matter what network card I use: The device manager in Windows 8.1 gives me a code 35: "The systemfirmware can not recognize this hardware because it couldn't gather enough data.. bla bla bla. Please update your BIOS".

Uhm well.. My board is from 2010 and the latest BIOS update came 2012 and is already installed. My entire hardware can be found here: http://www.sysprofile.de/id154494

Is there anything I could try? I tried 2 network cards from Realtek which do have 8.1 support but the device manager is like "no. You can't use it". At this point I'm afraid to buy a new one because most likely I will have the same kind of error.

I don't wanna use WiFi or USB solutions because I need a very low latency for gaming and a stable connection.

Thanks for every answer.
