"AHA!! turned off gamepad controler in the ingame settings menu. mo idea how it got activated as I dont use a game pad - but problem solved. give it a go and hopefully it will solve the problem."

Yesterday I bought fallout new vegas during the summer sale. Today when I tried to play it, I had a controller plugged in, and after that fallout hasn't been getting any mouse input, even after reinstalling the game. I am currently reinstalling it for the 2nd time, does anyone know how to fix this?
