This thread is about funny security stories from places like museums, airports, etc. 

 

So mine is when no drinks, except water, were allowed in the museum.  My sister had a half empty Pepsi bottle, so my mother stuffs it into a bag, but they saw it in the x-ray machine.

Not me, but I worked for Target for two years (not security).

I was in the Navy and if we forgot our military ID we found that if we folded a dollar bill just right and put it in a bifold and flash it to the guard we could get back to the ship.

Best was at great lakes Naval base. Marine asked an Admiral for his ID which the Admiral was ok with. When the Admiral looked in the rearview mirror and saw the marine wave the Dominos Pizza guy the marine found out it is bad to piss off an Admiral.

i go through the gate so often i rarely have to show it anymore, back in the day when mp ran the gate my mom would tell them off for yelling air assult.

The amount of doors that aren't locked is staggering. Movie theater side doors are normally unlocked.

Also never piss someone off higher rank than you. A officer may not seem to work for a living but, they sure will work to bust your balls.
