Good! Now, if DDR2/LPDDR2 would go down too...

Good luck with that, outdated memory will always cost way more than the current standard. considering trying to buy a 512MB DDR modual for my grandparents went above $70 (At time of purchase)

Yup. I think a 2x2GB kit of fairly decent 800MHz desktop RAM was like $30 or something.
