I've had problems playing games recently. What i've found is that it is probably called GSOD (grey screen of death). As i only experience this while playing games, it has to be a software issue of some sort. I found that it is possible i have corrupt files somewhere. I ran CMD and the attachment shows I have some corrupt files. To fix them i have to replace them with a working copy off another computer. My second image shows the log of the scan. Are all the lines that say "failed....." the corrupt files (see attachment")? How do i go about replacing them? Please only reply if you have experience with this kind of stuff. No guessing :)

Its not uncommon to see corrupted files like that. I doubt its your problem. Possible, but unlikely.

Its far more likely that its a hardware issue. What are your specs? Do you have any software installed to monitor the temps?

Are your drivers up to date? And by up to date I don't mean by using "Driver Booster 2" which I see on your desktop. That software alone is known to cause all sorts of issues.

I downloaded MSI afterburner the day i built the PC. My temps are fine. I've re-installed the GPU drivers manually. I got iObit driver booster to double check and it said everything was up to date. Radeon R9 280X, asus z97-k, i5 4690k, 600w psu. The games i play are no trouble for the card. Sits at around 60%

The weird thing is that the card worked fine for the first 3 months, its my first problem with this PC and its so hard to find much detail on the Grey screen of death
