Custom water loops advice

Go to solution Solved by CrustyTissue,

Can you see anyway of making it a bit cleaner?

I was thinking of going from the pump, straight through the gpu/cpu and then into each rad in turn. I think that'll make it look a bit nicer, but will it affect temps at all?

Not really maybe 2-3C, loop order doesn't matter imo just do what makes it look the best. After all custom water cooling is all about aesthetics :D

Hi Everyone!

Firstly thanks for taking time to look at this and provide any advice :)

I've created a quick drawing of how I want my loop to go (it's in paint... sorry...). Please could you look over it and let me know if it will work/if it can be optimized/made to look better?

I'm going to be using soft tubing and want to hide as much tube as possible.

Hopefully the picture is self explanatory, but just in case the loop will go as follows

Tube res
Down to pump
soft tubing runs around the back of the case to the 280mm rad on the front.

soft tubing exists rad, goes down the back of the case to the bottom and connects to the gpu

gpu then goes to the cpu

(Planning on using ROG Maximus Formula VII) cpu goes to the motherboard cooling (can't remember what the part is called)

Motherboard cooling to the top 360mm rad on the top

360mm rad goes round back of the case and plugs into the top of the res.

Alright thanks, didn't expect such a quick answer :)

Yeah I'm thinking about going hard line, but as it's my first water cooled build I'm not srue if I want to ramp the difficulty up that much.

Thanks for the advice :)
