Hi all

Okay so first off i am a noob as far as modding and Watercooling are concerned and this will really be my first venture into watercooling.

At the moment I have been doing extensive research on items that i will be acquiring for my build, but bear in mind that i am just your average joe that does not have deep pockets.

Okay enough waffling and down to the question.

I have been looking at getting either the corsair H100i gtx as a closed loop solution or getting the XSPC Raystorm 750 ex240 kit as a custom loop but this may change depending on the chasis i go with as i am not really a fan of the bay res setup with this kit, may take the ax240 instead.

Also as far as custom loops are concerned, I unfortunately hail from south Africa and getting parts and components for custom loops is insanely costly[emoji20] [emoji20]

How do the two mentioned above compare???

As far as case is concerned i am loving the nzxt h440 case (but may change 1 or 2 things) but if i go with the ex240 this may have to change to something like teh define r5 or the corsair 450

If the decision is between a 240mm custom loop or 240mm AIO, go for the AIO. Its cheaper and a lot easier to deal with. Performance will be prettymuch the same.

Thanks for quick feedback...

I not dead set on the 240m size there is a 360 rad equivalent which doesn't cost much more...

Also as far as the case is concerned it's not a definite...want a case to suit my needs so that is still up in the air really....also as far as cases are concerned I am pretty much stuck with few options in South Africa if I'm not prepared to import
