Help laptop instantly closes

My laptop instantly closes when i try to turn it up even if i try to enter bios .

I tried to remove static electricity by removing the battery /ac and pressed

the power button for at least a minute and still nothing.

 

Is my laptop dead?Model is Asus x54c

Does the laptop charge when you plug in the power adapter? Does it have a charge light?

if i remove battery it shows no lights if i open it the fans spins so does the HDD and then it closes if i do however the trick

to remove static electricity it lasts a bit longer.But it is like 3~10 seconds on tops cant maintain it to longer duration

it shuts down like you have unplugged it.Are you thinking over heating because of fan failure? I dont think that is the

case becasue it does stay that long to be overheated i think something is short sircuiting it

it gets power since it show the logo of Asus when booting up

Most laptops will run with no battery in them, that is why I asked if it would power up without the battery in it.

It power up with out battery but it closes after 3 second and fan spins also.Thus i need to get

another charger and if that wont work it is the laptop charger ciruits?

It is acting as if there is no charging going on from the charger. The circuit on the board could be bad, The battery could be shorted out, The plug mount on the board could be bad, The charger could be bad or you can even have a short on the board or a component with excessive draw on it. All of these thins could cause the symptoms that you have described. It is a matter of testing for each to determine the cause and resolve the problem.

Okay i know the battery is not short circuiting since it can run with and without it so we exclude that .

Charger on the other may have went faulty so iguess i could try another charger and if that wont work

what can i do?

You can also re-seat the ram to make sure that it is making good contact. Is the plug on the laptop charger loose? (The plug on the motherboard)?

No the plug is nice and tight however the problem with ram is that it has a stick of 4gb that i removed and tested it (did not work ) and an internal 4 gb reaching 8gb so i can test half of it works

 

Edit: Nope it aint HDD keyboard ram. Removed them all and still behaves the same

Tried another Charger does the same think thus we exclude that also . Mobo circuits?
