Computer Sometimes Won't Power Up?

Not sure if this is in the right section as I have no idea what the problem could be. But sometimes my machine just sort of like the lights come on (CPU block etc) and the fans start to spin, and then it cuts out and it takes multiple goes to get it to turn on? It's only happened 3 times, but I don't turn my machine off all that often. What could this be? I think it might be a problem with the button on the case? Once it's booted up it's fine, and no problems gaming or anything.
