What kinds of Graphics Cards should I look into for a Drafting Computer?

I am planning on using programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor.

what are your other parts?

CPU - Intel Xeon e3-1231 V3

Motherboad - Gigabyte GA-H97-D3M

Memory - 2x8GB Crucial Ballstix

PSU - EVGA 650W 80+ Gold Certified

My price range for the Graphics card would be about $250 - $350

i think that would be best to get a 970, the best for that pricepoint.

edit: deleted the quadro5000 option for too less vram

a 970 doesnt have certified drivers only quadros and firepros do(All other components are reliability parts)

For benefit of other readers:

Nvidia Quadros and Geforce cards optimized for profession use.

AMD FirePros and Radeons optimized for poffessional use.

They have max 64-bit precision enabled(the only consumer card to have this feature nowadays was the first titan).

Also their drivers optimized for use with professional applications like autocad, 3d rendering apps, etc. and have been certifed for use with certain applications. The downside is you pay a little more for the cards(though their is low end models). They also are slower on gaming loads due to their optimization, though the quadros do game at a similar speed to the consumer geforce variant now.
