Chromebook Storage

I cant find a great answer on the web. My question is how much Storage do you need on a chromebook? Is 32gb overkill and why would anyone even want that much? Thx for the help.

i just have to ask, why would you want a Chromebook?

Depends on what you use it for, the main use of the storage is just for downloads, I'm only using 1 gb so far, just using it to download files to put into google drive for my schoolwork.

Desktop: i7-4790k, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Seagate Barracuda 3TB, 2xR9 290 Vapor-X's (1 working atm), Asus Z97-Pro, NZXT H440 White, 16GB G. Skill Sniper RAM, NZXT HALE V90 850W.

Laptop: Samsung Chromebook 11.6" 

Phone: 8GB Galaxy S4

Well, you could get a budget Windows laptop with an Intel processor for the same price.

My Chromebook has 32GB of storage and currently has a bout 19GBs left. But I always have the ability to plug in external hard drives or SD if i need more storage so it's not a deal breaker.  Id say 32GB should be enough unless you're planning to store your music and videos on the Chromebook.

I know the whole HP stream 11 is a great deal for a windows laptop, but the difference is that if you just need a browser the Chromebook feels snappy compared to most budget windows laptops. But if you need more go windows. #stream11masterrace
