Can't remove fans

Hi, I have installed a fan controller and added the fans but now to properly root the cables I need to unplug them as it was only a test and I can't. I was wondering is there a special way but there just stuck. Thanks.

Look carefully at the connector jack - the end of the cable that meets whatever you plugged it into - and see if there's a small tab that is acting like a lock. You might need to lift this a little to remove the connector.

I had some fans that did this a while back, though I forget which, it was there to stop accidental knocks moving it enough to break a pin connection.
