$1300 home server

Looking for some hardware ideas for a home server build.  I plan on using this for central data storage, backups, some virtual machine usage, and remote login.  My budget is around $1300 for hardware only.  I have a dedicated gpu i can use so integrated graphics is not required.

Yes, i plan on installing windows server 2012 on a ssd to run the computer and then having a few hdd used as a NAS for my other desktop and laptop etc.

At least a few TB to start.  I will add more HDD to it as time passes.
