Aftermarket 980 ti timeframe question.

I was just wondering how long it usually take developers to put outaftermarket cards once the reference model gets put out? I want the ROG 980 ti and I'm wondering how long it will take them. Does anyone know how long it took for the 980, 970 and 960?

Current parts for new build. Case: CM Haf X full tower | MB: Asus Rampage V Extreme | Storage: WD 1TB HDD & Samsung 850 Evo | PSU: EVGA Supernova 750 G2 | Display: AOC G2460PQU | Cooling: Corsair H100i GTX | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB | Mouse: Razor Deathadder Chroma

Still need CPU, RAM, and GPU

within days, maybe like a week or two, generally the top dog companies are pretty quick to get their product out.

So I can expect Asus's GTX 980 Ti DirectCU III STRIX this month? That would be awesome I was hoping within the next two months, so thats great. I'm paying for my comp piece by piece and I only have my CPU which is gonna be a 5820k, ram and a GPU left to buy. The CPU and ram I'll buy at the beginning of next month since I just got the Asus rampage v extreme this month for $450. That card really matches my red and black color scheme.

Building on the x99 platform is expensive, when its all said and done I think I'll have spent 3k on it?

3K? ya, probably more. Mine is worth around 3K, give or take a bit. Got my stuff on sale too always a good idea!
