Zalman's cases areen't the sturdiest things.

Why aren't you using the 4690k? Not enough budget?

You can still overclock the non k by a few bits.

I would save up for 4690k though.

But I was thinking of upgrading the processor maybe in a year or two

You buy that beast (gaming) cpu and then you want to upgrade in a year or two?

Oh my ..

And here I am sitting with my fx 6300 that I plan to use for 3+ years, wondering how you could do such a thing ..

I'll get a 4690k then... but will the cpu cooler I mentioned be enough for a 4690k?

Idk anything about coolers but 212 evo is supposed to be really good for its price.

I have it for my processor and I like it (never had a pc before though).

It looks very simillar to a 212 Evo. Should be fine.

Get some thermal paste for like 5$ if you are still unsure.

EDIT: Good thermal paste, like Artic SIlver 5.

Are other parts good for my build? Or would you recommend me something better for the same price?

For 99$ You can get an asrock fatality z97. Better than the pc mate.

Perios at school just ended, I'll help you ou more later.

I'll stick with the pc mate just because the fatality z97 costs 60 bucks more, and I don't have that much money.
