Hi, im building a mini-itx build for gaming and i saw asus and gigabytes GTX 970's which were made for mini-itx builds,

Asus= http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX970DCMOC4GD5/

Gigabyte= http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5252#ov

This is 960 vs 970 not two 970's. So go for the gigabyte because it is a 970.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Atm go with the Gigabyte because that's a 970. However if you find an ASUS 970, then it boils down to which one you prefer the look of, and which one looks better in your system.

If you want my attention, quote my post or I will not see it. I ignore builds that do not use PCPartPicker.

Bitch please it's the price of a 980

in AUD, The dollar's in the shit, it's 78 US cents atm so it's ~$390 US then take off some more for the general discount the US seems to have.

All 970s here cost between $440 and $530 and 980s are between $720 and $930
