Video Editor Suggestions

TheKDub

Hello all, I've been doing stuff with youtube for quite a while now, but have been looking to improve the quality of my videos more and more, I used to use camtasia studio 8 for editing and rendering videos, and it honestly worked pretty nice for it, but it lacks a lot of features, and the fact that it can't output 60fps video was a deal-breaker.

I've been using CyberLink PowerDirector 13 for a few weeks, its a nice video editor, at least I thought it was, until I started doing larger projects on it, and it started freezing and crashing quite often.. so now I'm looking for an even better video editing software to use.

I've got a couple of requirements for suggestions:

- Must be able to output 1080p 60fps.

- Must be able to have multiple different videos and audio clips "stacked" on top of eachother throughout the timeline (So I could have a video play on top of another video and stuff like that)

- Must include a fair amount of transitions.

I'd like it if it also met these:

- Low cost (Under $200 or so, one time payment.)

- Dark colour scheme. (or at least be able to use one, that way I don't get blinded by all the light colors of the ui :P)

Thanks! :3

Alright, I'll give sony vegas pro a spin, and I might try premiere pro again if I don't like vegas.

Yeah, tried out the sony vegas pro trial for a quick video, It took a little figuring out, but it seems to work quite well.

My only complaint with it so far is that the UI looks pretty shitty lol
