Far Cry 4 - soft shadows broken?

Hi. I am using Asus Gtx 980 and when playing Far Cry 4 with all ultra + Txaa2x and soft shadows my fps goes to 45 fps.When i change to ULTRA shadows i have 60 fps+. If i remember on update 1.6 long time ago i dont had that so much performance hit using Soft Shadows. Actually i am using update 1.10. So they dont repair Soft Shadows?

What's your cpu? If I'm not mistaken soft shadows is a cpu heavy option

Weird, that option might not be well optimized then. It's definitely not your hardware, and it is Ubisoft after all. They really don't care much for pc gamers
