S12A or NF-a14?

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

The NF-S12A is quieter but the NF-A14 performs a bit better.

Hello,

I am going to be changing over to a Corsair 750D case in the next few weeks from my old case. When I do this, I will have one extra fan spot. My other fans are going to be in the others and I will need to get one for the rear as an exhaust fan, I was wondering which would be better to get, a Noctua S12A or an NF-A14? There will be no radiator or filter on this particular mounting point so I really don't think I need static pressure, but I know 140mm fans usually beat 120mm ones. I use Noctua fans everywhere else in my build and I really don't want to change to anything else. Does it really make a difference in this situation?

Thank you in advance for your help.

EDIT:    Also I run mine through AI Suite set on Silent if that changes anyting
