Hi, so the question is this: Does the motherboard need support for crossfire to support this card or not?

Which motherboard are you asking about? Also the 295x2 in crossfire would be 4 GPUs not 2.

no, it is a single graphics card with two processors in it. Like some server boards. It's not motherboard compatibility you need to worry about, think about your poor PSU. That card draws a CRAZY amount of amps

 

Which motherboard are you asking about? Also the 295x2 in crossfire would be 4 GPUs not 2. 

Yes the thing was just that my logic said that it gots 2 gpus so it would need crossfire support. So now i know thank you!
