Best Hybrid GPU?

Go to solution Solved by zlolslavez,

the money you spend on a hybrid gpu isn't worth the 5% temp you get on it.

295X2 is hybrid I think (has external rad so I don't know if that counts or not)

Hello, I'm trying to pick up a new Graphics card to upgrade my old Gtx 760.

I found out about "Hybrid" graphics card; a GPU that has fan and radiator to cool the card.

I'm looking forward to get EVGA Gtx 980 Hybrid but I want to know if there's any other hybrid graphics card out on the market.

I usually play Arma 3 and DayZ standalone so I do need that extra cooling. (normally play at least 6 hours; once a week) 1 hour every day.

I leave my computer on (turn it off every 2 days).

Monitor : 1080p 144hz

Game Graphics : Ultra with shadows off

The GTX 980 Hybrid is a very good card. Despite what you think, you probably don't need that level of cooling, but it's always nice to have. Whether it's worth the extra amount or not though is a different question.

Why would you need a hybrid GPU? It doesn't sound like you are putting it on load like 24/7. It will only be load under gaming, right? Unless you say that you are doing F@h/ Boinc 24/7 then you might consider that...

295X2 is worth it over the 980 Hybrid...

You can also add a similar cooling setup to any graphics card with brackets like the NZXT G10, which allow you to choose your own AIO to mount, or a conversion solution like the Arctic Accelero Hybrid.
