So i recently bought new parts for a new computer:

Intel i7 3770k @ 3.5 GHz

ASUS P8Z77-V PRO

Corsair Vengeance 16 Gb (4x4) ram

Corsair AX850 PSU

Intel 520 series 120Gb SSD

WD 1TB HDD

Nvidia GTS 450 (will be replaced soon)

Installed everything and worked like a charm. Forgot the Atheros WiFi adapter and attached it to the mb after. Problems began after attaching the WiFi adapter. The computer works, but after turning it off, it just randomly boots up. No specific time or w/e. Turned off "Boot from network devices" in the BIOS, Turned off "Auto boot after system failure" in control panel > system > boot and recoverproperties. Did a test by removing the WiFi adapter, and it didn't boot anymore (randomly) re-attached it and it randomly boots again.

Is this a manufacterers fault, a compatibility problem or what is it? I'm don't know what to do anymore.

Any idea's are welcome.

Don't know if I posted it in the correct section?

Have you tried using a different PCIe lane? It could be something in the lane causing your system to reboot ( not sure if this is even possible ). If that doesn't work' date=' you could invest in a USB wifi adapter.[/quote']

The thing is that it isn't a PCI or PCIe adapter, it's a piece that has a place on your motherboard like a solid USB input or your LAN input. That's what's awkward. It's designed to fit on the mb.

Also, I have a Usb Wifi laying around, but it's used for my old computer, but I really want to get this fixed.

After some google searching i found out that you can maybe disable some "performance option" and set it to "normal option" in the BIOS, some other users have had nearly simulare problem that you are having.

But the WI-FI can justbe broken, so maybe try to contact the place you bought it from and see if you can get a new one, and see if that works.

Tried this and it doen't help. Will send mail to Asus first and after trying to get a replacement.

Have you tried updating to the latest Bios?

Yes, did this before first boot. :)
