be specific on what kind of case you want aesthetics, or good air flow. Also what games do you plan on playing

Not in college yet and no i do not need any peripherals and if you put an OS on it ill make the budget $1000

Would you want to overclock at all.

if so you could get the intel core i5 4690k and AsRock z97 PRO4 for $250 and save lots of money to put in a better gpu

Maybe add a SSD later and the motherboard supports another 290X at PCI3 at 8x if you want that down the road.

That psu isn't big enough for 290X CF.
