front audio not functioning at all

So i built a my new pc a week ago, and it's great with one problem, front audio won't work. i have the 64 bit version and i re installed it twice and nothing happened. could use some help. My MOBO is a ASRock z97 extreme6 and in a NZXT s340 with HD audio connected

by front audio do you man the headphone jack in the front of the case? and im guessing the audio jack in the back on the motherboard works? if that's the case then make sure your wires then connect the front jacks to the MOBO are put in correctly 

 

edit: test your usb ports on the front and see if those work

do your other ports on the front work like ubs or SATA if you have it
