Comcast Modem No Wireless

I just got Comcast 25Mbps (great upgrade from my last internet) but I have no wifi now with this cable modem,  any way to get wireless internet?  Buy a cable router?

I am rookie with this stuff

I'd check if there's a wifi option that might be disabled.

If not, you could buy a wireless acces point. tis will enable wireless connections.

And to answer your question, yes adding an (all in one) router would also get you wireless.

I want to my cousins house and I have to buy another router

I have the same exact modem with the same internet option. To set up wireless, you need to go out and buy a router. Go watch Linus' video about router buying guide (i think there is a techquickie). To install the router you just need to connect a cable from the modem to the router then go to the router setup page and setup the wifi (name, password, etc). Hope this helps.

Just went to Walmart and bought a router, everything is back to normal and working :)
