School project about Bitcoin

ibbadib

Hey there,

I am in highschool in Denmark, and I have been assigned with writing a paper about bitcoins.

The subjects are IT/Math. So I have to explain what bitcoins are, how they work, how P2P work, how mining work, and which inventions Nakamoto did when he made bitcoins.

I will have a focus on pools, and the effect of them on the bitcoin network.

Therefore I am asking you guys if you know any great places/articles to read about this stuff?

Also, as I have to connect math with some of this, and explain the mathematical theory behind some aspects (fx: P2P), I would like some sources to have some of this explained. I luckily do not have to focus entirely on the math part, but more on the IT. I hope you understand.

Thanks

Ibbadib

(On phone, I'll post links later) As far as the math part of the project goes, you could talk about why bitcoins change in price, chances on finding blocks, etc. There's a lot of economics and math involved with bitcoins. Shouldn't be to hard.

Yes, but finding an explanation of the math is Hard. I think. :-)
