so ive had a cat 6 ethernet cable laying on the floor for a year now, and i havnt noticed a lot of networking problems, even though its getting stepped on from time to time, exept recently, where sometimes when i play CSGO my ping goes up to extreme levels, but i dont know if this is because of valves servers, or me

should i attatch the cable to the wall, or is it safe to keep it on the floor?

I would first check if the connector that goes to your PC has the cables kinda pulled out.

it is all the way in, since the plastic bit that holds it in is not (magically) broken yet, like all my other cables

Hmm, then your ping spikes should be from the ISP nothing to do on your end :/

i did a 3 hour ping test to google.com, and got mostly 8-6 in ping, so its probably just the CS servers

altough sometimes when i had an extreme lag spike, the others didnt which is wierd

I don't think durability is a part of that rating system so I can't say.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
