hey guy s.. could i ask which is the best ( and cheap ) unlocked GPU ?? 

 

i saw the vid of linus overclocking the 

Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition Overclocking Guide

andit is very cheap and will do a lot of things .... it will handle gaming ( atleast the games i play ( LoL, Minecraft, Battlefield ) )

 

whats your opinion ?? plz reply guys ..

 P.S. ( is there a cheap good cpu that is unlocked and better than the pentium ?? )

 

also is there a good mobo that is overclock ready ( i mean i can overclock the cpu easier than other boards ) that it is on a good price . ??

It'll probably handle it fine and it's probably the best for the job, as long as you're going to add decent dedicated graphics too.

I don't know what board to suggest though. What's your budget and location?

Within Intel's architecture at least, I'm sure the AMD chips can OC decently.

Athlon x4 860k is also very good at overclocking and motherboards that support overclocking on that cpu are cheaper than intel's equivalent. You would need a Z97 mother board to get a good overclock on G3258 pentium. They're not that cheap.

If he wants to game then a AMD cpu is a very bad idea.

amd's run games just fine. I agree you don't benefit from more cores than 4 in games but pentium's got 2 so more cores won't go to waste. Athlon X4 or fx 4300 are still quite good for gaming and for their price.

1. i live in greece .. and my budget in dollars is about 650$ to 700$ ( for the whole build )

2. the graphics ill go with are gtx asus strix 960 

3. i dont want amd i know amd makes good CPUs but i'd lie to game on it .. 

4. mobo suggestions ?

5. so only i5 is the next unlocked cpu ?? cost ?

yy i agree .. intels cpus are way better on gaming ... 4.7 ghz on pentium are fine .. i know that the cores arent a lot ... but for the games i told you about i think will do the job with a good overclock

The i5 is a massive step up, so expect 2.5-3x the cost of the Pentium.

so should i go with the stock or get a heatsink cooler .. .( after an upgrade( am planning on an i7 later and a 980) i am gonna go with full water cool (gpu and things like that))

While you are using the pentium sticking with the stock cooler will be fine.
