BIOS and Mechanical Keyboard

I am having trouble going into BIOS with my mechanical keyboard. I pressed "DEL" or "F12" but nothing seems to be working and just goes to the windows logo then desktop.

Can anyone help me as to what might be the issue?

Motherboard: Gigabyte z77x-UD5H

Keyboard: Ducky Shine 2

Could it be not the key that the motherboard uses to go into setup(BIOS)? When the bios boot logo loads, you should see what buttons to press in order to go to bios?

It says delete to go into bios and the f12 is for the options menu, I try with a non mechanical keyboard and it does seem to work

Try updating your BIOS

If you using PS2 then try to connect keyboard via USB port (or vice versa)

BIOS is up to date, well if you exclude the beta ones. and I don't have a PS2 on my motherboard, so I'm using it on the USB ports

Make sure the delete and f12 buttons on your mechanical keyboard r functional.

Alright so it seems that downgrading the bios made it work :O

and btw if you find a newer version of bios, I wouldn't recommend you to update it unless you have a problem with it because some boards have buggy new version and sometimes the old versions are better than new ones.

Ah, i will take note of that.

But, I think last time I updated the bios was because I had some problems with the ratio of the CPU. made problems for me, but both are okay for this bios and shall keep it until a problem occurs
