So I purchased my item and chose the prime option expecting it to be delivered on Friday, since it was stated it would be between Wednesday and Fridayand had not turned up on Thursday. However it still has not arrived and Amazon sent me an automated email stating it will be delivered on Monday instead which I have to make sure somebody is here to collect it.

Usually amazon prime has been really good however this is the second time it's has happened, the previous time was to my brother although amazon refunded him the cost of the item and postage (around £110) so he essentially got a free SSD.

How come he got a refund and I get some shifty automated email? Lol

Such bad luck I have xD

Best course of action is to contact Amazon support and see if anything can be done. Their support is fantastic.

And honestly it happens sometimes, I had some items not come at all and I got a replacement quickly.

just happened to me too. tracking said the item was delivered, but it never showed up. they sent another one and refunded me the sales tax. i'd have preferred an overnight since my prime 2-day shipping subscription has turned into a 6-day deal.

Talk to a real person, when i talked to Amazon support they were very nice and the guy happen to know about pc's, was a good conversation and if asked if i wanted someone else to contact me because he had the next day off, said nope enjoy your day off and talk to me when it gets resolved. Call within 10mins of when he said, told me no new news and he would keep trying. Called me right when found something out. All in all on of the better cs experiences
