Need more voltage?

Go to solution Solved by blackadder,

Im not getting more then 1045Mhz is it factory locked?

i guess so, thats strange, never had a 670,they did start lock volts back then but, it normally just maxes out. I would just leave it at the highest stable clock speed you get.

Ok so im currently trying to overclock my old gtx 670 and the stress test is going very well so far.

Temperature has not gone above 70 degress Celsius but its quite loud (stock cooler) but nothing i cant stand.

GPU-Z results

CPU clock: 1115Mhz              Default: 915Mhz

Memory Clock: 1552Mhz       Default: 1502Mhz

Msi afterburner results real-time

Core clock:  ~1032Mhz

Memory Clock: 3105Mhz

Questions:

1. Power is hanging around 98%-100% is that good or bad?

2. Powerlimit dips often between 0 and 1 should i be worried?

3. Do i need more voltage? The core clock is diffrent in msi afterburner then i gpu-z or am i pushing to hard? (Current voltage is 12mV above default and I had stability issues with the stress test earlier that is why i turned up voltage).

This is my first overclocking but i have some basic info and im gonna be uppgrading soon and ditching this gpu anyways so i just wanted to see how much i could push it.
