GTA V failed zlib error.

Hi! After 7 days of frustrating attempts to install GTA V because of the shitty download client that they have, I've finally installed the game and updates. However, I've encountered a new problem. This happens exactly at the part where I'm chasing the fat guy "D". The error says Failed_zlib_2 or something. I don't remember the exact error code. 

 

I've found a fix and it involves deleting all the corrupted x64*.rpf files. Fortunately, none of them are corrupted. I have the CD version by the way. When I tried verifying the files in the update folders, I didn't find a match for the following files;

 

update.rpf

mpheist

patchday2bng

patchday3ng

metadata.dat

 

 

I know that all I have to do is delete these files and redownload the missing ones, but I'm worried that it might force me to download the whole 5Gb and 400Mb updates all over again. As I have mentioned earlier, it took me 7 whole days to download those updates. Is there a way I can avoid this and fix the problem immediately? Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!
